So it goes

I was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, and am thoroughly trained in earthquake safety, bear combat and survival techniques.  I moved to Scotland to pursue a Masters degree in Physics.

Though now a physicist by training, I have a background in international relations and communications. In the past, I have worked in the public sector (the State of Alaska), private sector (Smith Barney Financial Consultants, Bonhams), academia (American University) and non-profits (the Anchorage Museum of History and Art, ISAR: Resources for Environmental Activists).

I am currently employed by the Scottish Institute for Enterprise and the University of Edinburgh’s LAUNCH.ed programme for entrepreneurs, to promote entrepreneurship to students. The job recently took me to Cape Town, South Africa for a global entrepreneurship conference. In general, it allows me to orbit many talented, inspirational people.
